Electrical Design Engineer

Our client, 3P Innovation, is a leading designer and manufacturer of automated machinery for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and FMCG industries.<br><br>Candidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully Please make your application promptly.<br><br>They deliver innovative, high-quality automation solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and compliance.<br><br>The team works collaboratively across design, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver bespoke and platform machinery to a global client base.<br><br>The Role: As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver electrical systems for machinery projects from concept through to commissioning and after-market support.<br><br>This role is ideal for an engineer with hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems, looking to contribute to innovative automation projects and expand their expertise.<br><br>Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver electrical systems for custom and platform machinery projects.<br><br>Produce wiring diagrams, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical documentation.<br><br>Support validation, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and on-site installation.<br><br>Collaborate with Mechanical and Software engineers to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.<br><br>Ensure compliance with European directives (Low Voltage, Machinery, EMC) and functional safety standards.<br><br>Assist in project procurement and liaise with suppliers.<br><br>Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes.<br><br>Essential Skills & Experience: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.<br><br>Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, control panels, and machine wiring.<br><br>AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software proficiency.<br><br>Knowledge of European directives and IEC 60204-1.<br><br>Understanding of motion control technologies (servo drives, inverters).<br><br>Strong communication and problem-solving skills.<br><br>Desirable Skills: Experience with special-purpose machinery or regulated industries (pharmaceuticals/FMCG).<br><br>Beckhoff / Siemens control systems knowledge.<br><br>Functional safety design experience (ISO 13849-1 or equivalent).<br><br>Basic programming and familiarity with mechanical or pneumatic systems.<br><br>Why Apply?
