It’s what delivering great healthcare should feel like.</p><br><p><strong>What you will be doing:</strong></p><br><p>With experience from the NHS or private care, you will lead the nursing team provide high-quality care and support to young people young people aged 12 - 18 years old with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting good teamwork.</p><br><p>As a Ward Manager, you will empower recovery and deliver supervision to staff across the ward to deliver great healthcare. You will work alongside the senior Nurse to manage the on-call service and manage the ward budgets, and lead by example, acting as a role model to all members of the nursing team, leading care teams and creating a positive learning environment that makes a difference and changes lives for the better. </p><br><p>Other duties include: </p><br><ul><li><br></li> <li>Providing Clinical Leadership and expertise <br><br> <br></li> <li>Providing leadership and guidance to support a unified service and engaged workforce<br><br> <br></li> <li>Ensuring that high standards are in place, followed and improved in accordance within the Clinical Governance framework<br><br> <br></li> <li>Utilising and supervising all nursing staff effectively<br><br> <br></li> <li>Being an expert resource on Nursing care of service users within the specialism and hold a key role in the multidisciplinary team<br><br> <br></li> <li>Maintaining a positive and collaborative environment to allow ward members to reach their potential and maximum their ability to provide high-quality care, staff welfare and staff training<br><br> <br></li> <li>Designated to take charge of the ward<br><br> <br></li></ul><br><strong>Things that you will have:</strong><br><strong> </strong><br><ul><li><br></li> <li>A relevant nursing qualification <br></li> <li>NMC registration<br><br> <br></li> <li>A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate<br><br> <br></li> <li>A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice<br><br> <br></li> <li>Relevant experience in a similar environment<br><br> <br></li> <li>Proven track record of leadership skills<br><br> <br></li></ul><br><p><strong>Where you will be working:</strong></p><br><br><br><p>Location: Cotswold Spa Hospital, Station Road, Broadway, WR12 7DE.</p><br><p>Working at Cotswold Spa, you will join the multidisciplinary team that provides CAMHS Tier 4 service for young people aged 12 - 18 years old with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder.</p><br><p>Combining the NICE guidelines recommended therapies, the service creates bespoke programmes that provide person-centred care to support each person’s physical, medical and mental health needs. Young people will participate in psycho-education to support their care plans, and are given the opportunity to engage in therapeutic programmes such as mindfulness, family and psychological therapies.</p><br><p>Working alongside the individual and their families, the MDT will collaboratively create care plans and risk assessments.
