<p><strong>SAP Archiving Consultant / Architect</strong><strong>Salary:</strong> Up to £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits<strong>Location:</strong> London or Manchester - Hybrid (3 days per week onsite)<strong>Working Hours:</strong> 40 hours per week - Full time<strong>Job Type:</strong> PermanentA globally established organisation is seeking an experienced SAP Archiving Consultant / Architect to lead the end-to-end archiving strategy across a complex, high-volume SAP landscape.</p><p>This role will focus on improving system performance, reducing data growth, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting long-term SAP platform sustainability across ECC and S/4HANA environments.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities for the SAP Archiving Consultant / Architect:</strong></p><ul><li>Own and drive the SAP archiving lifecycle across ECC and S/4HANA systems</li><li>Design and implement archiving strategies aligned to business, audit and compliance needs</li><li>Deliver hands-on configuration and execution using SARA, ADK, ArchiveLink and ILM</li><li>Reduce database growth and improve system performance and storage efficiency</li><li>Ensure readiness for audit, retention and regulatory requirements</li><li>Work closely with Basis, Functional, Security and Audit teams</li><li>Define governance standards, controls and documentation for archiving processes</li><li>Provide clear guidance to business stakeholders on archiving strategy and impacts</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills for the SAP Archiving Consultant / Architect:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience in SAP Archiving across ECC and S/4HANA</li><li>Hands-on knowledge of SARA, ADK and ArchiveLink</li><li>Experience with OpenText archiving solutions</li><li>Strong understanding of SAP Basis environments</li><li>Knowledge of data retention, governance and compliance requirements</li><li>Experience managing large SAP data volumes and performance optimisation</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable Skills for the SAP Archiving Consultant / Architect:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with SAP ILM</li><li>Experience with OpenText or similar content management platforms</li><li>Knowledge of HANA data volume optimisation</li><li>Experience supporting S/4HANA conversions or migrations</li></ul><p>If you are an experienced SAP Archiving professional looking to shape enterprise-wide strategy within a complex SAP environment, this role offers strong exposure to large-scale transformation and long-term platform optimisation.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?tW23EVguxUX6IKQDQN8TWkpnl%2fLG7dLOa" width="0" height="0" />
