Engineers, consultants, and delivery teams work side by side to solve high‑stakes problems and protect what matters most to end users.</p><p><br></p><p>Operating as a <strong>trusted technology partner within the defence and national security sectors</strong>, the business works closely with customers to tackle complex, often novel challenges, delivering solutions where performance, resilience, and reliability are critical.</p><p><br></p><p>Its defence‑focused engineering teams provide <strong>technology innovation and consultancy</strong> to a wide range of military and government users, applying deep expertise across areas including secure networks, agile software delivery, systems engineering, sensors and communications, AI and machine learning, information assurance, and data‑driven decision‑making.</p><p><br></p><p>As <strong>Senior Systems Engineers</strong> you will provide technical leadership in the <strong>design and delivery of advanced system solutions</strong> within domains such as <strong>Position, Navigation, RF communications, and sensing technologies</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p>You’ll take ownership of system‑level designs for <strong>cutting‑edge electronic and Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions</strong>, operating across the full lifecycle from early research and concept development through to deployment and support.</p><p><br></p><p>Depending on the programme, this may include leading technical activity across areas such as <strong>electronic surveillance and electronic attack systems</strong>, acting as a key authority on architecture, trade‑offs, and decision‑making. xwzovoh </p><p><br></p><p>This role suits engineers who enjoy <strong>working closely with end users</strong>, applying deep technical knowledge while communicating clearly with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Build a strong understanding of existing system capabilities and future development roadmaps</li><li>Act as <strong>System Design Authority</strong> on selected projects, owning system architectures across the full engineering lifecycle</li><li>Provide <strong>technical leadership</strong> to multidisciplinary teams delivering research, solution development, trials, and product evolution</li><li>Support business growth through expert technical input into solution shaping, customer engagement, and competitive bids</li><li>Deliver <strong>technical assurance</strong> across internal programmes and, where required, in support of customer activities</li><li>Work closely with project management and customer teams to ensure delivery against <strong>time, cost, performance, and quality</strong>, actively managing technical risk</li><li>Contribute to <strong>rapid prototyping activities</strong> in response to urgent operational or evolving requirements</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience in one or more of the following would be highly advantageous:</strong></p><ul><li>Electronic Warfare domains including EA, ES, ECM, ESM, RF‑related cyber capability, or radio bearer technologies</li><li>Familiarity with open architectures and standards such as <strong>SOSA, OpenVPX, OpenCPI, MORA, or similar</strong></li><li>System‑level understanding of <strong>hardware, firmware, and software</strong>, including DSP, FPGAs, software‑defined radios, RF systems, and antenna technologies</li><li>Experience working within <strong>Waterfall, Agile, SAFe, or Spiral</strong> development models</li><li>Identification and management of technical risks through structured approaches such as <strong>technical RAID logs</strong></li></ul>
