<p>Job Description</p><br>Before applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.<br><p>Senior Software Support Engineer</p><p>Up to £55,000 per annum plus bonus</p><p>Milton Keynes, 4 days a week on site</p><p>This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established SaaS business as one of  their most senior technical escalation points. You'd be stepping into a role that sits at the crossroads of application support, database, and development.</p><p>Duties of the Senior Software Support Engineer: </p><ul><li>Own complex 3 line software incidents end-to-end.</li><li>Utilise 3 line SQL and T-SQL to support data issues, debug procedures, and support fixes into production/staging environments (C#/.NET).</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis by documenting findings, feeding confirmed defects back to engineering with reproducible steps, ultimately contributing to preventing the same issues recurring.</li><li>Mentor 2nd line colleagues upskill and improve the wider support function over time.</li></ul><p>Experienced required for the Senior Software Support Engineer:</p><ul><li>Experience within a 3rd line, application support, or software engineering role within a SaaS or enterprise software environment</li><li>Strong SQL and T-SQL stored procedures, complex queries, performance tuning.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure in production.</li><li>Some .NET/C# experience to read and debug code.</li><li>The ability to communicate clearly and speak directly to customers to identify issues.</li></ul><p>Senior Software Support Engineer</p><p>Up to £55,000 per annum plus bonus</p><p>Milton Keynes, 4 days a week on site</p><p>Apply now to speak with VIQU IT in confidence.
