<p>An established, international MEP design consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing London team. With a strong global footprint and a reputation for delivering high-quality, technically complex projects, this organisation operates across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on mission-critical and data centre developments.</p><p><br><br>The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.<br></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to play a key role in delivering innovative building services solutions on large-scale, global projects.</p><p><br></p><p>As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take a leading role in project delivery, providing technical expertise, design input, and client-focused solutions. You’ll work within a multidisciplinary environment, supporting both project execution and the development of junior engineers.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Support the successful delivery of project objectives through technical input and engineering expertise</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, timely project delivery</li><li>Prepare specifications, drawings, and contract documentation in line with relevant standards</li><li>Deliver mechanical building services designs from concept through to completion</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered within budget and programme constraints while maintaining technical quality</li><li>Provide mechanical design solutions across a range of building and infrastructure projects</li><li>Manage scope and design changes in line with project controls and client requirements</li></ul><p><br></p><p>About You:</p><ul><li>Degree-qualified in Mechanical Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)</li><li>Demonstrable experience operating at Senior Engineer level</li><li>Strong technical expertise in mechanical building services design</li><li>Experience in data centres or mission-critical environments is highly desirable</li><li>Knowledge of related disciplines such as fire engineering, acoustics, and building modelling</li><li>Chartered status (or working towards) with xwzovoh a relevant professional body (e.g. CIBSE)</li><li>Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, IES, Hevacomp, CFD software, and Microsoft Office</li><li>Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p>What’s on Offer:</p><ul><li>Work on high-profile, international data centre projects</li><li>Collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking team environment</li><li>Clear career progression within a growing global consultancy</li><li>Competitive salary and benefits package</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you’re looking to take the next step in your career and work on globally recognised data centre projects, we’d be keen to hear from you.</p>
