This role plays a key part in driving revenue growth, profitability, and long-term customer partnerships while supporting the delivery of wider commercial objectives.<br><br>You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and customer stakeholders to implement effective commercial strategies and identify new business opportunities.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Sales & Profitability<br><br> * Drive sales volume and profit across assigned accounts<br><br> * Deliver against strategic, budgetary, and financial targets<br><br> * Monitor performance and implement improvements to maximise results<br><br>Account Management & Negotiation<br><br> * Lead negotiations and implement annual agreements with key customers<br><br> * Ensure alignment with company policies and commercial strategy<br><br> * Identify and secure new accounts to support business growth<br><br>New Business Development<br><br> * Identify opportunities for new products and ingredient solutions<br><br> * Collaborate on high-impact commercial projects<br><br> * Engage with customer teams across NPD, production, quality, and marketing<br><br>Financial Management<br><br> * Monitor financial performance and payment terms<br><br> * Work with finance to optimise commercial conditions and reduce risk<br><br>Market Intelligence & Relationship Building<br><br> * Build strong, long-term customer relationships<br><br> * Gather and share market insights, trends, and competitor activity<br><br> * Support informed business decision-making through market knowledge<br><br>Candidate Requirements<br><br>Experience & Knowledge<br><br> * Proven experience in key account management or a similar commercial role<br><br> * Track record of delivering xwzovoh sales growth and profitability<br><br> * Strong understanding of the food manufacturing sector (baking industry knowledge highly desirable)<br><br> * Experience managing complex commercial projects and new business initiatives<br><br>Skills<br><br> * Excellent negotiation and influencing skills<br><br> * Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making ability<br><br> * Effective communication and stakeholder management skills<br><br> * Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment<br><br>Attributes<br><br> * Strategic and commercially astute mindset<br><br> * Proactive and solutions-focused approach<br><br> * Strong organisational and decision-making skills<br><br> * Ability to work independently while contributing to team success<br><br> * Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
