Ready to take ownership of a crop category and shape its commercial success?<br /><br /><p>We're partnering with a global, innovation-led business in the horticultural sector to appoint a Seed Sales Manager - a high-impact, strategic role where you'll drive commercial growth, lead product direction, and influence market success across the UK & Ireland.</p><p>If you're commercially driven, passionate about the fresh produce or seed industry, and ready to step into a leadership role - this is your opportunity to make a real mark.</p><br /><br />What's in it for you?<br /><br /><ul>A strategic, high-autonomy role with full ownership of a crop category</li>The opportunity to influence product development, research, and go-to-market strategy</li>Work with international teams, breeders, and industry leaders</li>Visible position with direct impact on revenue growth and market positioning</li>Regular UK travel (and some international) with strong exposure across the industry</li></ul><br /><br />What You'll Be Doing<br /><br /><p>As Crop Category Manager, you'll take full responsibility for one crop group, combining commercial leadership, market insight, and technical collaboration.</p><br /><br />Your key responsibilities:<br /><br /><ul>Own and grow direct sales performance across the UK & Ireland for your crop category</li>Build and manage key customer relationships, becoming a trusted industry partner</li>Lead market intelligence gathering, identifying trends, insights, and opportunities</li>Collaborate with technical, research, and breeding teams to guide product development </li>Oversee trial programmes and product performance reporting</li>Manage and mentor a Crop Category Technologist</li></ul><br /><br />What We're Looking For<br /><br /><p>We're looking for someone who blends commercial acumen with industry expertise and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing role.</p><p> </p><br /><br />You'll bring:<br /><br /><ul>Proven experience in the fresh produce, seeds, or horticulture sector</li>A strong commercial background (sales, category management, or business development)</li>Excellent knowledge of the UK vegetable / crop market</li>Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels</li>Strong organisational and project management skills</li>Confidence in presenting, negotiating, and representing a brand externally</li></ul><br /><br />Ideally, you'll also have:<br /><br /><ul>A degree in agronomy, plant science, business, or a related field</li>Experience working in product development or trials environments</li>Willingness to travel regularly (UK & international)</li></ul><br /><br />Why this role stands out<br /><br /><p>This is your chance to own a category, shape strategy, and work at the forefront of agricultural innovation.
