You’ll work within a multi-skilled engineering team, supporting a modern production facility supplying the global automotive sector.You’ll be responsible for planned maintenance, fault finding, improvement work, and responding to breakdowns in a safe and timely manner, including participation in a 1 in 9 on-call rota.Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Carry out planned preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment</li><li>Diagnose faults and support breakdown repairs</li><li>Contribute to Root Cause Analysis and equipment reliability improvements</li><li>Lead small mechanical improvement projects from concept to installation</li><li>Support continuous improvement of processes and equipment</li><li>Work with internal teams and manage external contractors when required</li><li>Participate in a 1 in 9 on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support when required</li></ul><p>What you need:</p><ul><li>Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience</li><li>Minimum HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)</li><li>Experience with Permit to Work, Risk Assessments, and Management of Change</li><li>SAP Plant Maintenance experience desirable</li><li>Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills</li><li>Willingness to participate in a 1 in 9 on-call rota</li></ul><p>Apply! xwzovoh If this role sounds of interest, please click apply to send your CV or if you have questions contact Kirk at Pertemps, Cardiff.</p>
