<p>Job Description</p><br>All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.<br><p>Full-Time | 9:00am – 3:00pm | Long-Term</p><p>Are you confident using British Sign Language and want to make a real difference?</p><p>We’re working with a specialist SEN school in Sunderland supporting students aged 11–19 with hearing impairments, autism, and complex needs.</p><p>Your role:</p><ul><li>Supporting students using BSL in lessons and daily communication</li><li>Working 1:1 and in small groups</li><li>Helping students access learning and build independence</li><li>Supporting emotional and social development</li></ul><p>What we’re looking for:</p><ul><li>BSL skills (Level 1 minimum, Level 2 preferred)</li><li>Experience with SEN or a strong interest in the area</li><li>A patient, calm, and consistent approach</li></ul><p>What’s on offer:</p><ul><li>September start with long-term stability</li><li>Supportive SEN environment</li><li>Opportunity for permanent placement</li></ul><p>All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
