Tenancy Services Manager

<p><strong>Your new company</strong></p><p>We are recruiting an experienced Tenancy Services Manager to lead and coordinate tenancy and housing management services within a large social housing organisation. This is a senior operational role requiring strong leadership, regulatory expertise and a clear focus on tenant satisfaction and service excellence.<strong>Your new role</strong></p><p>The Tenancy Services Manager will be responsible for the operational delivery, oversight and continuous improvement of tenancy services, ensuring full compliance with current housing regulation and consumer standards.Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Leading the delivery of a high-quality, tenant-focused tenancy service</li><li>Managing and developing a team of housing staff, embedding high standards and accountability</li><li>Translating housing legislation, regulation and policy into effective operational practice</li><li>Ensuring compliance with the Social Housing Regulation Act 2023 and Consumer Standards</li><li>Overseeing tenancy management activity including ASB, tenancy enforcement, sustainment and complaints</li><li>Monitoring service performance, KPIs and tenant satisfaction, implementing improvements where required</li><li>Working collaboratively with internal teams (income, ASB, tenancy sustainment) and external partners including adult and children's social care</li><li>Supporting emergency planning and responding to critical incidents where required</li><li>Contributing to service development projects and deputising at senior level when needed</li></ul><p><strong>What you'll need to succeed</strong></p><ul><li>Proven mamillotegmental experience within local authority or registered provider housing services</li><li>Strong working knowledge of social housing regulation, statutory responsibilities and consumer standards</li><li>Experience leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams</li><li>A track record of delivering performance improvement and service compliance</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with tenants, staff and senior stakeholders</li><li>A tenant-centred, outcomes-focused approach</li><li>A relevant housing qualification (e.g. CIH Level 5) or substantial equivalent experience</li></ul><p>Experience preparing for or working within regulatory inspections is desirable.</p><p><strong>What you'll get in return</strong></p><ul><li>Senior, high-impact leadership opportunity</li><li>Opportunity to stabilise and strengthen a key housing service</li><li>Hybrid working model</li><li>Initial short-term contract with immediate start</li></ul><p><strong>What you need to do now</strong>If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.</p><p>Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
