Housing Officer

We are currently recruiting for a <strong>Housing Officer</strong> to join a busy and supportive housing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for delivering high-quality housing management services and making a real difference in local communities. You will be responsible for managing a patch of properties, ensuring tenancies are sustained, and delivering excellent customer service to residents.<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Manage a portfolio of residential properties within a defined patch</li><li>Act as the main point of contact for <strong>tenants</strong>, providing advice and support</li><li>Handle <strong>tenancy management</strong> issues including <strong>sign-ups</strong>, renewals, and terminations</li><li>Manage rent arrears and support income recovery</li><li>Investigate and resolve <strong>anti-social behaviour (ASB)</strong> cases</li><li>Conduct property visits and estate inspections</li><li>Work closely with internal teams and external agencies</li><li>Ensure compliance with housing policies and relevant legislation</li></ul><strong>About You</strong><ul><li>Previous experience in a <strong>Housing Officer</strong> or similar role</li><li>Strong knowledge of tenancy management, ASB, and rent arrears</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively</li><li>Experience working with housing management systems</li><li>Full UK driving licence (desirable depending on role)</li></ul>If you have the relevant skills then please apply today!<img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?SWtLklruwzJofpdpzZfsrByfaDE6KmgKw" width="0" height="0" />
