Technical Services Manager

<p><strong>Technical Services Project Manager (Fire Bias)</strong></p><p> Reigate, Surrey</p><p> £60,000 + £6,000 car allowance</p><p></p><p>Within this role, you will lead fire-related works across a live estate, from initial scope through to handover, with clear visibility and accountability.</p><p></p><p>You will be comfortable operating across service orders, minor works and capital projects, with a strong grounding in fire safety compliance and M&E systems.</p><p></p><p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p><p> You'll take ownership of projects end-to-end, including:</p><ul><li>Managing service orders and minor/major projects from scope through to completion</li><li>Leading fire remedial works driven by Fire Risk Assessments and compliance activity</li><li>Developing project scopes, programmes, cost plans and risk registers</li><li>Coordinating contractors, consultants and stakeholders</li><li>Overseeing delivery on site, ensuring quality, safety and programme adherence</li><li>Managing budgets, challenging costs and ensuring value for money</li><li>Ensuring full compliance, governance and auditability across all works</li></ul><p></p><p>There is a strong emphasis on fire systems and compliance-led capital works, including fire alarms, emergency lighting and wider M&E infrastructure.</p><p></p><p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p><p> This role suits someone who is confident and commercially aware, with experience across:</p><ul><li>Project management within the built environment</li><li>Fire compliance and statutory remedial works</li><li>Managing multiple projects, stakeholders and competing priorities</li><li>CDM Regulations and design coordination</li><li>Contractor and supply chain management</li></ul><p>You'll bring:</p><ul><li>A recognised qualification in construction, engineering, project management or a related discipline</li><li>APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent</li><li>Fire safety or compliance-related qualifications</li><li>IOSH or NEBOSH</li><li>Strong working knowledge of fire legislation and standards</li></ul><p></p><p>You'll manage critical fire compliance delivery across an estate, with the autonomy to shape how projects are delivered and improved.</p><p></p><p>To request the full job description or have a confidential conversation, contact <strong>Mike Kennedy at Insight Executive Group</strong>.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?HEJlsczeL0tkPknW9hKK66JNEQU5JV0Bk" width="0" height="0" />
