<strong>Senior Social Worker - Family Help Service</strong><p><strong>London Borough of Hackney</strong><strong></strong><strong>£39.04 per hour Umbrella</strong></p><p>Hackney Children's Social Care is entering an exciting new phase, and we are looking for experienced and passionate <strong>Senior Social Workers</strong> to join our newly formed <strong>Family Help Service</strong>.</p><p>Our services are being redesigned to provide continuity, stronger relationships, and better outcomes for children and families. Our Assessment & Planning and Child Protection teams are coming together to form the <strong>Family Help Service</strong>, delivered across <strong>four neighbourhood-based teams</strong> in Hackney.</p><strong>About the Role</strong><p>As a Senior Social Worker in the Family Help Service, you will work <strong>with families from allocation through to case closure</strong>, offering consistent, relationship-based social work. You will hold a diverse and meaningful caseload, including:</p><ul><li>Children and Family Assessments</li><li>Children in Need (CIN) planning and interventions</li><li>Child Protection work</li><li>Public Law Outline (PLO) and court proceedings</li></ul><p>This role provides the opportunity to carry out <strong>end-to-end social work</strong>, embedding systemic, trauma-informed and anti-racist practice throughout the child's journey.</p><p>You will play a key role in:</p><ul><li>Completing high-quality assessments and analytical reports</li><li>Managing risk and safeguarding children</li><li>Delivering purposeful interventions that create sustainable change</li><li>Contributing to reflective practice and supporting less experienced colleagues</li><li>Working closely with multi-agency partners to achieve the best outcomes for children</li></ul><strong>What We're Looking For</strong><p>We're seeking confident, reflective Social Workers who are committed to excellent practice and Hackney's values.
