Ensure compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement.</p><p></p><p><strong>What you will be responsible for:</strong></p><ul><li>Undertake reactive and planned maintenance of plant and equipment.</li><li>Install new plant and equipment as required.</li><li>Respond to alarms and fault-find issues, fixing or escalating as needed.</li><li>Carry out inspection and testing on mechanical equipment following company procedures.</li><li>Provide technical expertise to internal and external contractors.</li><li>Update company systems and databases accurately and promptly.</li><li>Participate in standby cover</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Additional Requirements</strong></p><p>Standby cover required on a 1-in-8 rota basis.</p><p></p><p><strong>What you'll bring to the role:</strong></p><p><strong>Essential</strong></p><ul><li>Level 3 NVQ Mechanical qualification with certificates.</li><li>Full UK driving licence.</li><li>Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Desirable</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in water industry.</li><li>Strong understanding of pumping station operation and wastewater treatment process.</li><li>Knowledge of health and safety legislation.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Progression opportunities</strong></p><p>Southern Water offers career progression, training, and development opportunities.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?p4QwZ6nBSKm7%2b%2bIA6qm7MsAQq7o50KK0e" width="0" height="0" />
