<p><strong>Electro-Mechanical Technician</strong><strong>Halifax</strong><strong>£15.77 per hour </strong><strong>38 hours per week Monday-Friday (12:30 finish Friday)</strong> Our engineering client <strong>based in Halifax</strong> is looking to recruit a skilled <strong>Electro-Mechanical Technician</strong> to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced <strong>Electro-Mechanical Technician</strong> to work in a high-quality manufacturing environment building and calibrating precision instruments and equipment. As an <strong>Electro-Mechanical Technician</strong>, you will be responsible for assembling, testing and calibrating products to ensure the highest standards of quality are consistently achieved. The <strong>Electro-Mechanical Technician</strong> will work closely with internal departments to support production, quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Build and assemble mechanical and electrical components to produce high-quality instruments.</li><li>Calibrate equipment and ensure all products meet strict quality standards and procedures.</li><li>Follow ISO quality processes and ensure measurement equipment is used correctly.</li><li>Complete documentation including quality plans, NCRs and system updates accurately.</li><li>Install and verify correct software revisions where required.</li><li>Work collaboratively with operations, planning, distribution and service teams.</li><li>Support continuous improvement activities within the department.</li><li>Maintain excellent housekeeping, health and safety, and working practices.</li><li>Assist with stock control processes and accurate system bookings.</li></ul><p><strong>The Candidate</strong> The successful <strong>Electro-Mechanical Technician</strong> will ideally have:</p><ul><li>Apprentice training (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.</li><li>HNC level qualification or equivalent engineering experience.</li><li>Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment.</li><li>Strong electrical and mechanical assembly skills.</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work independently or as part of a team.</li><li>Good organisational skills and attention to detail.</li></ul><p><strong>What's on Offer</strong></p><ul><li>£15.77 per hour</li><li>38-hour working week</li><li>Monday to Friday schedule</li><li><strong>Early finish at 12:30pm on Fridays</strong></li><li>Stable position within a well-established engineering environment</li></ul><p> This role would suit a motivated <strong>Electro-Mechanical Technician</strong> who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working within a collaborative engineering team.
