<p><strong>Mechanical Design Engineer - Aberdeen</strong></p><p>The Mechanical Design Engineer will develop and optimise electro-mechanical systems. The role involves close collaboration with electrical, manufacturing, and testing teams to take concepts through to validated, production-ready solutions.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead assigned design packages and oversee drafting support.</p></li><li><p>Produce and check drawings, calculations, specifications, and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Resolve manufacturing and testing issues.</p></li><li><p>Create 3D models, engineering drawings, and supporting documentation.</p></li><li><p>Apply engineering analysis to verify performance and integrity.</p></li><li><p>Support prototype builds and testing activities.</p></li><li><p>Improve designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability.</p></li><li><p>Maintain quality standards and contribute to design reviews.</p></li><li><p>Provide clear documentation and progress updates.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>We are looking for candidates who have a BEng/MEng in Mechanical Engineering, with strong skills in MathCAD, Vault and Inventor.
