<p><strong>MOBILE Fire Engineer - 3 Vacancies (North London x2, South-east London - Lewisham x1)</strong></p><p><strong>Type:</strong> Permanent</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> £40,630 per annum</p><p><strong>Realistic earnings:</strong> £45,000-£50,000+ per annum with overtime, travel time and call-out payments</p><p><strong>Overview </strong></p><p>We are seeking experienced Fire Service & Maintenance Engineers to join a growing, high-performing team. These roles focus on planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs and compliance across life-safety systems within residential and commercial environments. Each day offers a new setting, and engineers are trusted to represent the business professionally while delivering exceptional customer service.There are three positions available:</p><p> Two roles based in North London </p><p> One role based in South-East London (Lewisham)</p><p>These vacancies offer strong long-term stability, excellent earning potential and clear opportunities for progression.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Service, maintain, fault-find and commission systems including: Fire alarms, automatic opening vents (AOVs), CCTV, access control, warden call systems and fire extinguishers</li><li>Complete accurate engineer service reports</li><li>Identify and report system deficiencies or deviations</li><li>Maintain and report on emergency lighting and associated equipment</li><li>Conduct regular van stock checks and liaise with technical and procurement teams</li><li>Maintain a strong Health & Safety mindset, reporting risks promptly</li><li>Aim for first-time fixes wherever possible</li></ul><p><strong>Ideal Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience working with analogue addressable and conventional fire alarm systems</li><li>FIA (or equivalent) training to BS5839-1 Fundamentals</li><li>Understanding of BS5839 (Part 1 and Part 6)</li><li>Good IT literacy</li><li>Full UK driving licence</li><li>Flexible approach to working hours (minimum 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri) with the opportunity to significantly increase earnings through overtime, weekend work and participation in an out-of-hours rota</li></ul><p><strong>What You Can Expect in Return</strong></p><ul><li>Base salary £40,630, with engineers typically earning £45,000-£50,000+ due to regular overtime and additional payments</li><li>Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate</li><li>Company vehicle and fuel card</li><li>Phone, tablet, full test equipment and power tools provided</li><li>22 days' holiday plus UK bank holidays (30 days total)</li><li>Ongoing training and career development</li><li>Access to a comprehensive benefits package including: Employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, mental health resources, employee discount scheme, pension scheme and death-in-service insurance</li></ul><p><strong>PLEASE NOTE - </strong>All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
