Data Cabling Installation Engineer

Data Cabling Engineer - Walsall

We are currently looking for an experienced Data Cabling Engineer to work on a long-term project in Walsall.

The role will involve the installation, termination and testing of structured cabling systems within a large industrial environment. Experience working on industrial, manufacturing, utilities or critical infrastructure sites would be advantageous.

Duties:

• Installation of Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cabling
• Containment installation including trunking, tray and basket
• Termination and testing of copper cabling
• Reading and working from site drawings
• Adhering to site health & safety procedures
  
  

Requirements:

• ECS/CSCS card
• Previous structured cabling experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• IPAF beneficial but not essential
