Arboriculture Team Leader - New Forest -£32,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
The Job:
We are recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to join a growing arboricultural business in the New Forest. This is an excellent opportunity for an established arborist ready to take the next step, leading a team across domestic, commercial and public sector projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise arboricultural teams on a daily basis
- Plan and coordinate works safely and efficiently
- Carry out pruning, dismantling, felling and other tree work
- Complete site risk assessments and ensure health & safety compliance
- Monitor work quality and maintain high industry standards
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Liaise professionally with clients and site stakeholders
- Ensure equipment and machinery are correctly maintained and operated
- Lead by example and promote a positive team culture
The Company:
A growing arboricultural business delivering professional tree care and vegetation management services across the New Forest and surrounding areas. The company offers a supportive environment with opportunities for training, development and career progression.
The Candidate
- Proven arboricultural experience, ideally 3+ years
- Previous experience leading, supervising or mentoring a team
- Relevant NPTC arboricultural qualifications, including chainsaw and felling units
- Strong understanding of arboricultural best practice and health & safety
- First Aid qualification
- Reliable, professional and proactive approach
- Climbing, aerial rescue, MEWP or trailer qualifications would be advantageous
- Experience with commercial or local authority contracts would be beneficial
