Graduate Technical Engineer

<p><p>MCS Group are working with a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation to recruit a Technical Engineer to join their team based in the UK. </p><p>This organisation operates within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, delivering structural solutions across a range of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging designs while engaging directly with clients and playing a key role in project delivery from enquiry through to completion. </p><p><strong>The Role </strong> </p><p>The Technical Engineer will be responsible for delivering design and technical support across a range of structural projects. Following a period of on-the-job training, you will work independently, liaising directly with customers while producing calculations, drawings and technical solutions to meet project requirements. </p><p><strong>You will; </strong> </p><ul><li>Prepare structural calculations and load assessments in line with relevant standards </li><li>Produce bespoke design solutions and technical drawings using CAD software </li><li>Generate accurate technical quotations and deliver within agreed timescales </li><li>Liaise directly with customers, providing technical advice and design support </li><li>Oversee projects from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring quality and compliance </li> </ul><p><strong>What's in it for you; </strong> </p><ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits package </li><li>Flexible working with early finish on a Friday </li><li>Clear path for career development within a progressive organisation </li><li>Hands-on role with exposure to design, customer interaction and project delivery </li> </ul><p><strong>The Ideal Candidate; </strong> </p><ul><li>Degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g. Civil, Structural or Mechanical) </li><li>Experience working with traditional materials such as timber, steel and concrete </li><li>Knowledge of AutoCAD and production of manufacturing drawings </li><li>Strong organisational and communication skills with a customer-focused approach </li> </ul><p>Full details will be discussed upon application. </p><p>Are you a Technical Engineer open to new opportunities?
