<p>Estimator (Manufacturing) </p><p>Cardiff </p><p>£30'000 - per annum + pension, Life Insurance and more. </p><p>An exciting opportunity to join a successful award-winning market leader, who has supplied high-quality products and trusted building solutions to some of the most iconic and high-profile projects around the world. </p><p><strong>Salary & Benefits: </strong> </p><ul><li>A starting salary of £30'000 </li><li>9% company pension (5% employer contribution + 4% employee contribution) </li><li>up to 26 days holiday plus bank holidays </li><li>Sick pay scheme </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Employee Assistance Programme </li><li>Free on-site car parking </li><li>Excellent training and development </li> </ul> <p><strong>Roles & Responsibilities: </strong> </p><ul><li>Review enquiries to ensure the ability to supply compliant quotations within the company's product range. </li><li>Ensure all quotations are 100% accurate, including relevant margins, and comply with certification requirements. </li><li>Manage quote amendments pre- and post-sale to meet customer and project needs. - Raise DFA's (Design for Approval) when required, ensuring accuracy and compliance. </li><li>Communicate regularly with external customers to ensure comprehensive and compliant quotations. </li><li>Maintain regular customer contact regarding key quotations to address inquiries and updates. </li><li>Answer general technical enquiries, including specifications, certifications, and building regulations, consulting the technical team when necessary. </li><li>Follow all standard operating procedures and processes to ensure consistency and quality. </li><li>Continuously look for ways to improve the quoting process and contribute to operational efficiencies. </li><li>Ensure KPIs related to estimation and customer engagement are met consistently. </li> </ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills & Experience: </strong> </p><ul><li>Experience in a Continuous Improvement / Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer role </li><li>Educated to HNC level (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline would be beneficial. </li><li>Lean Management </li><li>Must be fully proficient in the use of software Microsoft office.
