It's a very exciting time to join the team and the business is looking for a motivated individual with a track record of working to high standards, leading and developing teams. </p><p><strong>Role Description </strong> </p><ul><li>To Manage and Priorities breakdowns ensuring that all work is carried out quickly and effectively. </li><li>To co-ordinate the work of engineers, ensuring all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales. </li><li>Assist in the Performance management of the team. </li><li>To Ensure the achievements of the Engineering KPIs and targets are met. </li><li>Mentor and support the team. </li><li>Assist in the development of the Engineering department to enable the business to grow. </li><li>To ensure all company procedures and rules are adhered to and issues are dealt with fairly, promptly, and consistently. </li><li>To ensure all plant and equipment are maintained and kept operational and safe. </li><li>Quick response to breakdowns and its rectification, ensuring that all work is carried out in an effective and safe manner. </li><li>Ensure all reports and records are completed correctly and issued within the correct timescales. </li><li>Fully support improvement inchoatives and development of the Engineering department to enable the business to grow. </li> </ul><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications </strong> </p><ul><li>Good Engineering Knowledge gained within an FMCG environment. </li><li>Self-managed and able to influence others to gain their maximum performance. </li><li>Experience with projects is highly advantageous </li><li>HNC or NVQ3 or higher in engineering with Supervisory experience - Ideally </li><li>Good communication and IT skills </li> </ul><p><strong>Company Information </strong> </p><p>As a business our client is a true market leader within their industry with a strong presence across the UK.
