<p><p>Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the Southern Health and Social Care Trust to recruit a Temporary Band 3 Booking Clerk Administrator. This role will initially be located in Portadown but will then move to Lurgan from June 2026. It is a full-time position offering the below shift pattern. </p> <p><strong>Location: </strong> Initially Portadown, then Lurgan from June 2026 </p><p><strong>Salary: </strong> £12.75 per hour </p><p><strong>Contract: </strong> Temporary until August 2026 </p><p><strong>Hours: </strong> This position offers the following shift pattern </p><br><p>Weeks 1-4: Mon - Fri </p><p>4 days 8am to 4pm </p><p>1 day 10am to 6pm </p> <p>Week 5: Mon - Sat </p><p>3 days 8am to 4pm </p><p>1 day 10am to 6pm </p><p>1 day 8am to 11.30am </p><p>Saturday 9am to 1pm </p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities: </strong> </p><ul><li>Manage patient booking and registration processes </li><li>Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently </li><li>Speak with patients and healthcare professionals by telephone and email </li><li>Maintain accurate electronic and manual records </li><li>Prioritise workload to meet service deadlines and standards </li><li>Support the ongoing development of electronic referral systems </li><li>Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and empathy </li><li>Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust </li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria: </strong> </p><ul><li>4 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language <strong>and </strong> 1 year's clerical/administrative experience<br><strong>OR </strong><br>2 years' clerical/administrative experience </li><li>Experience using Microsoft Word or equivalent software </li><li>Strong communication and organisational skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Ability to prioritise workload effectively </li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable </strong> </p><ul><li>Experience using HSCNI software packages including PARIS </li> </ul> <p>If you wish to apply in confidence, please submit your <strong>CV </strong> via the link provided or contact <strong>Ashlea Parte </strong> for further information. </p><p>Applicants requiring adjustments or support during the recruitment process are encouraged to get in touch so that appropriate arrangements can be made. </p><p>Please note: Successful candidates may be required to complete a <strong>Basic or Enhanced Access NI </strong> security check (fee of £18+).
