<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing credit control across a diverse portfolio of accounts including national supermarkets, wholesale traders and export customers. You will play a key role in ensuring strong financial controls while maintaining excellent relationships with both internal teams and external customers.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage credit control for a range of customer accounts including national supermarkets, wholesale traders and export clients using a variety of collection and risk management techniques.</li>
<li>Conduct credit reviews and ongoing risk management of customer accounts.</li>
<li>Handle discrepancy management and resolve customer queries efficiently.</li>
<li>Manage order suspension and release in line with credit policies.</li>
<li>Liaise with multiple UK sites to provide dedicated credit control support.</li>
<li>Prepare for and attend regular debt and risk review meetings.</li>
<li>Ensure all requests received through the credit control inbox are actioned promptly.</li>
<li>Produce weekly and bi-weekly reporting on credit control performance and account status.</li>

<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Excellent communication skills with a strong team ethic.</li>
<li>Proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively.</li>
<li>Experience working within a customer-focused environment.</li>
<li>High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.</li>
<li>Experience driving continuous improvements and supporting change initiatives.</li>
<li>Experience working with multiple ERP systems (Navision and SAP preferred).</li>
<li>Advanced Excel skills.</li>
<li>Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.</li>
<li>Strong internal and external customer focus.</li>
</ul>
