Warehouse Team Leader (Night shift)<br><br>While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.<br>We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader (Night shift) on behalf of our client in Didcot, Oxfordshire to oversee daily operational activities within their organisation.<br>Working closely with the Operations Management team, the Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of an operational team, managing workflows, allocating resources, and ensuring excellent service delivery to both internal and external customers.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Lead and supervise a team to ensure all duties are completed in line with operational targets, organisational objectives, and KPIs.<br>Manage daily workflows, prioritising tasks and allocating resources effectively.<br>Ensure full compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Working Practices (SWPs).<br>Review, maintain, and update SOPs and SWPs to ensure accuracy and relevance.<br>Promote and maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and customer service in line with internal quality and continuous improvement programmes.<br>Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and management at all levels.<br>Identify opportunities for improvement and escalate recommendations to the line manager.<br>Identify training needs, ensure effective induction of new starters, and support ongoing development of team members.<br>Train, coach, and share knowledge to ensure tasks are carried out to the required standards.<br>Actively promote a strong health and safety culture within the workplace.<br>Skills, Experience & Qualifications<br>Proven experience working within a warehouse or operational environment.<br>Previous experience managing or leading a team.<br>Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).<br>Strong understanding of health and safety requirements in an operational setting.<br>Relevant qualifications such as Manual Handling, CILT/NVQs, or similar (desirable).<br>Health & Safety and/or First Aid training (desirable).<br>Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.<br>Good standard of spoken and written English.<br>Competent user of Microsoft Office applications.<br>Health and safety focused.<br>Attention to detail. xwzovoh <br>Adaptable and open to change.<br>Salary: £16.92 per hour<br>Working hours: 10pm-6am Monday-Friday (35hrs paid per week)<br>PLEASE NOTE: This position is offered on a Temporary to Permanent basis
