Known for its focus on technical excellence, safety, and innovation, it operates across global markets on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects. The organisation adopts a collaborative approach, integrating design, engineering, and construction to deliver efficient, high-quality outcomes.</p><p>The Temporary Works Engineer will manage temporary works procedures in line with project requirements, undertake design and/or independent design checking and support additional temporary works and engineering design activities.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Produce detailed designs for temporary works and simple permanent works</li><li>Manage internal and external design resources</li><li>Oversee temporary works procedures and compliance</li><li>Carry out independent technical reviews, including hazard and risk assessments</li><li>Ensure adherence to relevant project procedures and standards</li><li>Liaise with designers and other key stakeholders</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Apply lessons learned and promote best practice in safety and design</li><li>Manage change control processes</li><li>Provide internal and external progress reporting</li><li>Participate in industry forums and professional groups where required</li></ul><p><strong>Required Knowledge & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Understanding of construction methods, materials, xwzovoh and design processes</li><li>Experience in design within a consultancy or temporary works environment</li><li>Membership of a relevant professional institution (or working towards)</li><li>Ability to support or deputise for senior engineering roles when required</li><li>Awareness of design responsibilities within construction projects</li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Strong technical and analytical skills</li><li>Effective communication and stakeholder management</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines</li><li>Collaborative and team-oriented approach</li></ul>
