Senior Technical Lead Location: Gloucestershire, England Salary: Up to £60,000 Hours: 42.5hrs per week Start Date: Immediate JDR Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Technical Lead within a manufacturing environment.<br><br>Want to apply Read all the information about this position below, then hit the apply button.<br><br>As Senior Technical Lead , you will play a pivotal role in driving the performance and development of the technical department.<br><br>You will lead the local technical team, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule to support both commercial and manufacturing operations.<br><br>This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a busy manufacturing environment.<br><br>Key Responsibilities: Lead and support the technical team to ensure departmental KPIs are achieved.<br><br>Drive the timely production of front-end commercial drawings and accurate manufacturing drawings for production.<br><br>Produce and develop manufacturing drawings for a range of projects within a busy manufacturing environment.<br><br>Prepare project-specific design details and technical documentation.<br><br>Provide technical guidance and specification advice across the business.<br><br>Contribute to the ongoing development of Revit capabilities and technical drawing standards.<br><br>Attend and contribute to technical team meetings and Revit workshops.<br><br>Support production teams both in the office and on the manufacturing floor.<br><br>Assist the Sales team by producing quote proposal drawings and providing technical advice to clients.<br><br>Produce regular technical bulletins and updates to support continuous improvement initiatives.<br><br>Work closely with senior stakeholders on project-based development activities.<br><br>About You: Experience working within a drawing office or architectural office producing high-quality technical drawings.<br><br>Strong CAD and Revit skills, with proven experience using Revit in a professional environment.<br><br>Good understanding of building regulations and general construction practices.<br><br>Strong communication skills with the ability to manage projects from initial brief through to completion.<br><br>Ability to prioritise workloads and support team performance within a busy environment.<br><br>Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.<br><br>Benefits: Salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience) 42.5hr working week 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Immediate start available If you are a motivated Senior Technical Lead looking for a challenging and rewarding role in Gloucestershire, apply now via JDR Recruitment .<br><br>JDRNewport We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.<br><br>We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. xwzovoh <br><br>JDR is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
