<p>Contract Systems Engineer – Future Combat Air – 12 Month Contract – Luton (On-site)</p><br>If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.<br><p>We have an excellent opportunity for a Contract Systems Engineer to join a leading defence and aerospace organisation within their Future Combat Air line of business, on an initial 12‑month contract.</p><p>You will be part of a specialist team developing advanced systems for key aerospace customers, working on cutting-edge Electronic Warfare (EW) products and collaborating with subject matter experts across multiple domains.</p><p><strong>Role Overview:</strong></p><ul><li>Support the development and refinement of system requirements</li><li>Contribute to system design and interface definition</li><li>Assist engineering domains with design and integration activities</li><li>Potential to follow the full engineering lifecycle from requirements definition through integration, qualification, verification and validation</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable Experience & Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Systems modelling and analysis using <strong>Matlab</strong> and <strong>Cameo</strong></li><li>Experience working in an <strong>agile</strong> engineering environment</li><li>Exposure to the <strong>full engineering lifecycle</strong> (requirements, design, integration, test, V&V)</li></ul><p><strong>Location & Working Pattern:</strong></p><ul><li>Based on-site in <strong>Luton</strong></li><li><strong>80–100% on-site</strong> requirement (4 to 5 days per week) due to the nature of the work</li></ul><p>This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile future combat air programmes, developing complex systems in a highly collaborative, expert engineering environment. xwzovoh </p><p>If you’re an experienced Systems Engineer with relevant modelling and lifecycle experience and you’re available for a long-term contract in Luton, please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.</p>
