<p><strong>Systems Engineer (Requirements & Integration) – Defence / EW</strong></p><p><strong>Luton (4 days on-site)</strong></p><p><strong>£605/day (Inside IR35)</strong></p><p><strong>12-month contract</strong></p><p><strong>SC clearance is essential </strong></p><p><br><br>All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.<br></p><p>We’re looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support the development of complex defence systems, with a focus on requirements definition, system design, and interface management across a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.</p><p><br></p><p>This role sits within a high performing team working on Electronic Warfare (EW) systems, offering exposure to cutting edge defence technology and collaboration with leading subject matter experts across domain, product, and engineering disciplines.</p><p><br></p><p>What you’ll be doing</p><ul><li>Develop and refine system-level requirements from stakeholder needs</li><li>Support system architecture and interface definition activities</li><li>Contribute to design integration across multiple engineering domains</li><li>Work across the full engineering lifecycle, including: Integration, Verification & Validation and Qualification support</li><li>Collaborate closely within an Agile engineering environment</li><li>Use model-based engineering approaches to support system understanding and design decisions</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Key skills</p><ul><li>Security cleared (SC)</li><li>Strong background in Systems Engineering within Defence, Aerospace, or similar complex environments</li><li>Experience working across the full engineering lifecycle</li><li>Knowledge of requirements engineering and system modelling approaches</li><li>MATLAB (modelling / analysis)</li><li>Cameo Systems Modeler (or xwzovoh similar MBSE tools)</li><li>Understanding of interface management and system integration</li><li>Exposure to Agile development environments</li><li>Defence / Electronic Warfare (EW) domain experience</li><li>Experience supporting V&V or system qualification activities</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong> Additional information</strong></p><ul><li><strong>This role requires 4–5 days per week on-site in Luton</strong></li><li><strong>Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for UK security clearance (or hold current clearance, if applicable)</strong></li></ul>
