Senior Sous Chef

Were looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join a flagship corporate site in Canary Wharf , delivering high-end hospitality across multiple outlets within one building.<br><br>If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.<br>This is a varied and hands-on leadership role, covering everything from fine dining and executive lunches to large-scale events, premium buffets, and the upcoming launch of a new Level 18 lounge and hospitality space.<br>Youll work closely with the Executive Chef to lead the kitchen team, ensuring consistency, quality, and smooth delivery across all services.<br>While this is a MondayFriday role, flexibility is essential , as hours may vary depending on events, functions, and business needs.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Support the Executive Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations<br><br>Lead day-to-day service across meetings, boardrooms, and events<br><br>Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and organisation<br><br>Train, develop, and motivate the kitchen team<br><br>Contribute to menu development, tastings, and seasonal changes<br><br>Manage stock, ordering, and waste in line with targets<br><br>Work closely with FOH and client teams to deliver a seamless service<br><br>What Were Looking For<br>Background in high-end kitchens is a MUST (Michelin, 5* hotels, or premium corporate hospitality)<br><br>Proven experience leading teams and running service independently<br><br>Versatile chef, comfortable across different styles and service types<br><br>Strong knowledge of food safety, allergens, and kitchen compliance<br><br>Calm, organised, and solutions-driven approach<br><br>Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to changing service demands<br><br>The Offer<br>Senior leadership role within a high-profile corporate environment<br><br>More structured hours compared to traditional restaurant roles<br><br>Ongoing training and development opportunities<br><br>Competitive salary and benefits package<br><br>We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
