Location: Canary Wharf<br><br>The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.<br>Start Date: ASAP<br>Change Hospitality is proud to be partnering with a leading Business & Industry catering operator to recruit an experienced and food-driven Head Chef for a flagship site in Canary Wharf.<br>This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a varied and high-quality food operation within a modern corporate environment, offering an excellent Monday to Friday work-life balance alongside a strong focus on fresh food, creativity, and hospitality.<br>About the Site The venue caters for around 1,000 covers weekly across several exciting food concepts, including:<br>Deli & Retail Offering Morning coffee and freshly baked patisserie selection<br>Contemporary deli counter with seasonal lunch dishes<br>Main Restaurant Breakfast service featuring made-to-order eggs and healthy breakfast options<br>Busy lunchtime staff dining operation<br>Freshly prepared grab-and-go selection<br>Street Food Kitchen Rotating daily lunch concepts inspired by global flavours<br>Interactive chef-led cooking stations<br>Hospitality & Events Regular evening functions throughout the week<br>High-end dining for senior leadership teams<br>Corporate hospitality and bespoke business events<br>The Opportunity Reporting into the Site Director, the successful Head Chef will take overall responsibility for the kitchen operation and lead a brigade consisting of:<br>Sous Chef<br>4 Chef de Parties<br>3 Kitchen Porters<br>Key responsibilities will include:<br>Overseeing all day-to-day kitchen operations<br>Maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation standards<br>Designing fresh, innovative menus across retail and hospitality areas<br>Inspiring and developing a motivated kitchen team<br>Managing stock, GP, and kitchen compliance procedures<br>Driving creativity through seasonal dishes and evolving food concepts<br>About You We are keen to speak with chefs who have:<br>A strong passion for modern food trends and quality ingredients<br>Experience within contract catering, hospitality events, or fast-paced fresh food environments<br>Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and grow a team<br>Confidence creating new menu ideas and food concepts<br>Strong organisational ability within multi-faceted operations<br>A proactive and hands-on management style<br>Package & Benefits £55,000 £58,000 basic salary<br>Paid overtime<br>Monday to Friday working pattern<br>Excellent work-life balance<br>Premium Canary Wharf location<br>Opportunity to join a progressive and growing operation<br>If you are a talented Head Chef looking for a fresh challenge within a dynamic B&I environment, we would love to hear from you.<br><br>We are proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
