<p>Job Description</p><br>Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.<br><p>Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential</p><p>Location: SK14 Hyde</p><p>Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 + £50 per sleep-in</p><p>Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off</p><p>Home Type: 2-bed Children’s Residential Home</p><p>Make a Real Difference Every Day</p><p>This is more than just a job it’s an opportunity to positively shape the lives of young people.</p><p>As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can thrive, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.</p><p>Working in a small 2-bed home, you’ll have the time and space to build meaningful relationships and deliver truly person-centred care.</p><p>What You’ll Be Doing</p><ul><li>Supporting young people with their day-to-day routines, including school, activities, and appointments</li><li>Leading shifts and providing guidance to support staff</li><li>Ensuring high standards of care in line with regulations and company policies</li><li>Promoting a therapeutic, child-centred approach</li><li>Supporting the development, review, and implementation of care plans</li><li>Building positive, trusting relationships with young people</li><li>Encouraging independence, life skills, and personal development</li><li>Completing accurate records and reports</li><li>Creating a warm, stable, and homely environment</li></ul><p>What We’re Looking For</p><ul><li>Minimum 1 year experience in a children’s residential setting</li><li>Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (or equivalent)</li><li>Experience supporting or leading shifts</li><li>Strong communication and organisational skills</li><li>A calm, resilient and nurturing approach</li><li>Full UK driving licence (preferred/essential depending on role)</li><li>Flexibility to work a 2 on / 4 off rota including sleep-ins</li></ul><p>What’s on Offer</p><ul><li>Competitive salary of £32,000 – £35,000 plus sleep</li><li>£50 per sleep-in (paid on top of salary)</li><li>Consistent 2 on / 4 off shift pattern for work-life balance</li><li>Opportunity to work in a small, supportive 2-bed home</li><li>Ongoing training and career progression</li><li>Supportive management and team environment</li></ul><p>Why This Role? xwzovoh </p><p>In a smaller home setting, every interaction counts.
