Female Specialist Care Support Worker Location: Winchester<br><br>All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.<br>Service: Specialist Care<br><br>Shifts Available: 01: Saturday long day (07:0022:00) + Sunday mornings + additional annual leave cover<br>02: Monday, Wednesday & Friday (07:0017:00)<br><br>We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced Female Support Workers to join our Specialist Care team in Winchester.<br>In this rewarding role, you will provide person-centred care to young adults with complex needs, supporting them to lead independent, fulfilling, and meaningful lives.<br>If youre passionate about making a genuine impact and enjoy varied, hands-on work, wed love to hear from you.<br><br>Please note: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.<br><br>About the Role As a Specialist Care Support Worker, you will support individuals with their social, emotional, and physical wellbeing , promoting independence and inclusion in line with SCA Cares values.<br><br>No two days are the same your role will include: Supporting with personal care and daily living tasks<br>Assisting with cooking, cleaning, and household duties<br>Supporting attendance at appointments and community activities<br>Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing<br>Supporting hobbies and interests (e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, music, gaming, dancing)<br>Working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex care needs<br>Using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques<br>Working in environments where pets (including dogs) may be present<br>About You We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in supporting individuals with complex needs<br>Calm, resilient, and confident in challenging situations<br>Passionate about person-centred care<br>Supportive of independence and personal development<br>Willing to learn and develop professionally<br>Comfortable working in homes with pets<br>A full UK driving licence holder (essential)<br>Pay & Benefits Competitive pay: £13.00 £14.75 per hour<br>6 weeks paid annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)<br>Paid day off for your birthday<br>Guaranteed hour contracts available<br>Paid training time (National Living Wage)<br>Free QCF / Care qualifications (with pay enhancements above Level 2)<br>Free branded uniform and lanyard<br>Blue Light Card national retail & online discounts<br>Employer contributory pension scheme<br>Career development & progression opportunities<br>About SCA Care Social Care in Action (SCA Care) provides high-quality Home Care, Live-in Care, Day Care, Extra Care, and Specialist Care services across Hampshire.
