Edinburgh (EH1)<br><br>You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.<br>Contract<br>Published: 5 days ago<br>Up to £70,000k<br>Location:Edinburgh (site-based)<br>Duration:Minimum 2 years<br>Reporting to:Regional Commercial Manager<br>Role Overview<br>We are seeking an experiencedSenior or Managing Quantity Surveyorto support the commercial delivery of a majorenergy infrastructure projectin Edinburgh.<br>This role will focus on ensuring robustcommercial management, contract compliance, and financial controlacross the project lifecycle. The project is administered underFIDIC terms and conditions, making prior FIDIC experience essential.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>Lead thecommercial managementof a large-scale energy project<br>Administer and manageFIDIC contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation<br>Managesubcontractor procurement, including tendering and contract preparation<br>Overseesubcontractor valuations, payments, and final accounts<br>Prepare and maintainproject budgets, forecasts, and cost/value reconciliations<br>Deliver accuratecost reporting and financial projections<br>Work closely withProject and Site Managersto optimise commercial performance<br>Identify and managecommercial risks and opportunities<br>Support dispute resolution and contractual negotiations where required<br>Key Requirements<br>Proven experience atSenior or Managing Quantity Surveyor level<br>Strong working knowledge ofFIDIC contracts(essential)<br>Demonstrable experience within theenergy sector, ideally including:<br>High Voltage (HV) works<br>Substation projects<br>Minimum5+ years post-qualification experiencein construction, civil engineering, or electrical infrastructure<br>Degree qualified inQuantity Surveyingor similar<br>Strongcommercial acumen and contract management skills<br>Excellentcommunication, negotiation, and stakeholder managementabilities<br>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities<br>Desirable<br>Chartered status (e.g.RICS)<br>Experience withinutilities / electrical infrastructure / renewablesenvironments<br>Why Apply? xwzovoh <br>This is a fantastic opportunity to join along-term (minimum 2-year) flagship energy projectwith strong pipeline continuity and career progression potential.
