In this pivotal role, you will design and implement scalable, low-latency, high-performance services that underpin critical functions including funding, liquidity, and regulatory reporting.</p><p>You will contribute to the evolution of our microservices architecture, drive SAFE agile transformation, and support DevOps automation that enables real-time inventory visibility, reconciliation accuracy, and operational resilience. This is a unique opportunity to influence a key platform used across Markets, Treasury, Liquid Financing, Operations, and Regulatory Reporting.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Architect, design, and implement low-latency server-side applications using Java and Spring Boot.</li><li>Build solutions using event-driven microservices, REST APIs, and integration frameworks such as Apache Camel.</li><li>Develop scalable services supporting real-time inventory visibility and reconciliation.</li><li>Collaborate with global business and technology stakeholders to deliver commercially impactful solutions.</li><li>Contribute to DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native optimisation, and SAFE agile processes.</li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams across regions to support funding, liquidity, and regulatory use cases.</li><li>Ensure solutions meet high standards of performance, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.</li></ul><p>What We're Looking For</p><p>Essential Experience</p><ul><li>Extensive hands-on experience with Java, low-latency server-side engineering.</li><li>Experience with multithreaded engineering is a must and have to be stated in the CV</li><li>Strong understanding of TDD and BDD principles.</li><li>Expertise building services using Spring Boot, event-driven architecture, REST APIs, and Apache Camel.</li><li>Strong PL/SQL skills across RDBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL Server) and exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB).</li><li>Proven capability in debugging, optimisation, and performance tuning in distributed</li></ul><p>environments.</p><p>Additional Skills (Nice to Have)</p><ul><li>Familiarity with Kafka, Solace, or similar messaging technologies.</li><li>Exposure to cloud-native development: AWS, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker.</li><li>Understanding of inventory funding, securities lending, and settlement workflows.</li><li>Experience working in environments with strong focus on risk & controls and regulatory-driven outcomes.</li></ul><p>What We Value</p><ul><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across global teams and diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Proactive mindset with a passion for engineering excellence. xwzovoh </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with complex business logic and high-impact outcomes.</li></ul>
