Role : UX Design Lead<br><br>Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding.<br>Length : Until March 2027<br>Location : Hybrid working- 1 day onsite per week - Primary locations: Aberdeen, Glasgow, Inverness or Perth<br>Rate : £650.68 via umbrella company<br><br>Job Description<br>Scope of Work - User-Centred Design Services<br>Provision of User-Centred Design (UCD) as a service to support the SSEN Transmission Digital Programme across multiple value chains and projects. The service embeds a consistent, holistic user-centred approach across the full delivery lifecycle, providing both strategic oversight and hands-on delivery.<br>Core Activities<br>User research (qualitative and quantitative)<br>Translation of insight into journeys, personas, prototypes and opportunity maps<br>Governance and assurance of UCD deliverables at project gates<br>Development and maintenance of a shared Experience Framework<br>UX risk management, metrics xwzovoh (SUS/UMUX) and reporting<br>Stakeholder engagement, facilitation and governance support<br><br>Resource Requirements<br><br>Four UX Design Leads providing value-chain-level leadership, hands-on delivery, assurance of vendor UX outputs, and progression of UX maturity across the programme.
