Senior Estimator

MCS Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a leading civil engineering contractor.<br><br>Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.<br><br>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role within a motivated team.<br><br>The Role We are working alongside a leading contractor to recruit a Senior Estimator to join their team.<br><br>In this role you will play a key part in the Estimating team, the successful candidate will work alongside submissions and technical teams on the preparation of competitive tenders.<br><br>You will; Lead the estimating process on major and complex tenders, managing supply chain engagement, client interaction and coordination with internal commercial and delivery teams.<br><br>Produce accurate estimates, cost plans and budgets from early-stage information, with the ability to price from first principles and analyse subcontractor quotations.<br><br>Manage Design & Build tender requirements, including identifying design elements and coordinating with external designers.<br><br>Work across multiple tenders at once, contributing to tender meetings, collaborating with the wider bid team, and ensuring all costs are accurately compiled in estimating systems.<br><br>Support and lead members of the estimating team, helping develop junior staff while contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships.<br><br>What's in it for you; Competitive salary and benefits.<br><br>Hybrid working with flexible working hours.<br><br>Ongoing opportunities for development and career progression.<br><br>The Ideal Candidate; Experience in estimating/ commercial/ procurement roles for Construction or Civil Engineering projects Strong knowledge of cost management, estimating, and contract administration.<br><br>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication.<br><br>Full details will be discussed upon application.<br><br>Are you an Estimator open to new opportunities?
