<p>Job Description</p><br>Making sure you fit the guidelines as an applicant for this role is essential, please read the below carefully.<br><p>3 Month Contract</p><p>£450-£475/Day</p><p>Outside IR35</p><p>Network Engineer (NOC) – Remote (UK) | 24/7 Managed Services</p><p>We are looking for a proactive, customer focused Network Engineer to join a highly skilled NOC team within a leading international technology solutions provider. Supporting customers across Finance, Manufacturing, Utilities and Retail, you’ll play a key role in delivering 24/7 Managed Services excellence.</p><p>This is a primarily remote role with occasional travel to Milton Keynes, UK customer sites, and data centres.</p><p>The Role</p><p>As an all round, hands on engineer, you’ll provide expert technical support across diverse MSP/MSSP environments. </p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Supporting and managing complex network, infrastructure, virtualisation and application environments</li><li>Participating in a 24/7 on-call rota</li><li>Incident, problem and change management within an ITIL-based framework</li><li>Producing HLD/LLD documentation and technical plans</li><li>Contributing to service reviews, reporting and SLA/KPI adherence</li><li>Deploying and maintaining solutions at customer sites and data centres (occasional UK travel)</li><li>Supporting pre-sales, solution design and technical consultancy</li></ul><p>Skills & Experience</p><ul><li>Strong networking background (CCNP+ desirable)</li><li>Cisco Nexus Switching, ASA/Firepower</li><li>Fortinet (ideally certified), Check Point (CCSE/CCSM), Palo Alto</li><li>Load balancing technologies</li><li>AWS and/or Azure</li><li>VMware (ESXi, vSAN)</li><li>Windows & Linux Servers</li><li>Network monitoring tools</li><li>SIEM tooling (Defender/Sentinel)</li><li>ITIL exposure (incident/change management)</li><li>Server rack management in live environments</li></ul><p>Due to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted. xwzovoh  </p><p>Proactive Appointments Limited operates as an employment agency and employment business and is an equal opportunities organisation</p><p>We take our obligations to protect your personal data very seriously.  Any information provided to us will be processed as detailed in our Privacy Notice, a copy of which can be found on our website</p>
