Network Architect

<p><strong>Network Architect (DV Cleared / Single UK National)</strong><strong>Basingstoke Fully On-site £600+ per day Contract</strong></p><p>We're looking for an experienced <strong>Network Architect</strong> to join a multi-skilled, agile engineering team delivering complex and secure infrastructure solutions from a customer site in <strong>Basingstoke</strong>.</p><p>This is a hands-on, technically challenging role where collaboration is key. You'll work closely with security, service, and management teams, contributing to project delivery while shaping and improving network architectures in a high-security environment.</p><p>If you enjoy owning complex network designs end-to-end and taking accountability for delivery, performance, and continuous improvement, this role will suit you well.</p><p>What you'll be doing</p><ul><li>Delivering <strong>technical implementation of medium to large network infrastructures</strong></li><li>Working on project deployments including <strong>installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance</strong></li><li>Supporting project SMEs with preventative maintenance and configuration improvements</li><li>Identifying risks, meeting delivery timescales, and contributing to technical frameworks on larger projects</li><li>Implementing <strong>technical best practice</strong> independently within a team environment</li><li>Managing systems in line with <strong>SLAs</strong>, identifying and delivering service improvements</li><li>Owning complex technical issues and working with <strong>third-party suppliers</strong> where required</li><li>Keeping up to date with new networking technologies, tools, and approaches to drive continuous improvement</li></ul><p>What we're looking for</p><ul><li>Proven experience implementing <strong>LAN networks and infrastructure patching</strong> from design specifications</li><li>Strong background providing architectural and technical guidance to ensure compatibility with: <ul><li>Enterprise architectures</li><li>Policies, standards, and security strategies</li></ul></li><li>Experience delivering work to agreed <strong>deadlines and cost constraints</strong></li><li>Ability to provide timely fixes or workarounds where issues arise</li><li>Understanding that solutions often require <strong>process, service, or operating model changes</strong>, not just technology</li><li>Comfortable working in complex, secure environments with multiple stakeholders</li></ul><p>Role details</p><ul><li><strong>Rate:</strong> £600+ per day</li><li><strong>Contract:</strong> 6-month initial engagement</li><li><strong>Location:</strong> Basingstoke (BSN01) - 5 days per week on-site</li><li><strong>Clearance:</strong> High-level clearance required (Single UK National only)</li><li><strong>Working pattern:</strong> Monday to Friday</li><li><strong>Start:</strong> ASAP</li></ul><p>This is a strong opportunity for a Network Architect who wants to be hands-on, influential, and part of a collaborative team delivering secure, high-impact infrastructure.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?kvKO%2fmG%2frVqZLxhq5ULjSW5RIFM3r9S%2fg" width="0" height="0" />
