You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and emergency support across client sites in line with contract requirements.</p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to work with the UK's largest M&E contractor and a trusted part of the <strong>EDF Group</strong>, offering long-term stability and ongoing development.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical building services.</li><li>Diagnose faults and repair lighting, plumbing, and distribution systems.</li><li>Maintain compliance with Health & Safety legislation and engineering standards.</li><li>Accurately document maintenance activities, inspections, and completed work.</li><li>Respond promptly to helpdesk requests, breakdowns, and emergencies.</li><li>Liaise with sub-contractors and ensure seamless service delivery.</li><li>Support project works and lifecycle replacements across the contract.</li><li>Attend client meetings and produce reports as required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What You’ll Need Essential:</strong></p><ul><li>Recognised apprenticeship or SVQ Level 2/3 in Service & Maintenance or Electrical Engineering.</li><li>Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience across commercial buildings.</li><li>Health and Safety awareness.</li><li>GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.</li><li>Solid understanding of general building PPM routines and fault diagnosis.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li>18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.</li><li>Experience with BMS, automatic controls, and Legionella compliance (ACOP L8).</li><li>Familiarity with PPM systems like Concept 5000 or Evolution.</li><li>Gas Safe qualifications (COCN1, CIGA1, etc.).</li><li>F-Gas certification and knowledge of refrigeration systems.</li><li>IPAF 3a/3b & PASMA certification.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>A team player who contributes actively and positively to team performance.</li><li>Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities.</li><li>Confident communicator, adaptable, and solution-focused.</li><li>A customer-first mindset and dedication to delivering a high standard of service.</li><li>Commercial awareness and an understanding of cost control principles.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Join Dalkia UK?</strong></p><p>Dalkia UK is a key part of the EDF Group, employing over 5,000 people across the UK.
