Data Centre Shift Technician Hayes, West London Up to £55,000.00 Plenty of Overtime Available (OTE £75,000.00) Continental Shift Pattern (Days & Nights, 12-hour shifts) We are currently recruiting for a Data Centre Shift Technician to join a leading facilities management provider, delivering engineering services within a high-profile, mission-critical Data Centre environment in Hayes.<br><br>Is this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.<br><br>This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically or mechanically qualified engineer looking to progress into the Data Centre sector, with full training and clear career development on offer.<br><br>Key Responsibilities: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on critical M&E systems Working on equipment including UPS systems, generators, HVAC plant, AHUs and FCUs Performing HV/LV switching operations and supporting site shutdowns Working as part of a small shift team to maintain site uptime and reliability Managing subcontractors on site and overseeing works Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures, including permits to work and risk assessments Updating logbooks and maintaining accurate maintenance records Requirements: Electrical or Mechanical engineering background (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) Previous experience within a commercial, industrial or critical environment Strong understanding of building services / M&E systems Willingness to work a continental shift pattern (days and nights) HV/LV experience is advantageous but not essential (training provided) Package & Benefits: Salary up to £55,000.00 Overtime available (OTE £75, days annual leave Full uniform and tools provided Ongoing training and development (HVAP/LVAP, ILM, CNet) Clear progression opportunities into senior or authorised person roles Long-term career within a stable and growing sector This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading organisation within the rapidly expanding Data Centre industry. xwzovoh <br><br>To apply, please submit your CV or get in touch for more information.
