Lead Protection & Control Systems Engineer - Transmission & Distribution<br><br>Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.<br><br> Location: Staffordshire or Glasgow office with hybrid or remote working arrangements<br> Full-time | Permanent<br><br>Are you an experienced Protection & Control Systems Engineer with a passion for delivering innovative solutions in the Transmission & Distribution sector? My client are looking for a technical leader to join their growing team of experts.<br><br>As a Lead Engineer, you'll take ownership of the design and implementation of Protection Systems across high-impact energy infrastructure projects throughout the UK. You'll work closely with clients and internal teams, ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and performance.<br><br> What You'll Do:<br> Lead the technical delivery of Protection & Control systems across key projects<br> Design and review SLDs, schematics, layouts, and system architecture<br> Chair design workshops and engage stakeholders to align on compliant solutions<br> Conduct site visits and support installation, commissioning, and testing activities<br> Produce and review essential technical documentation (FDS, design specs, compliance reports)<br> Support sales, tenders, and project management with expert technical input<br> Ensure successful delivery within time, budget, and quality targets<br><br> What You'll Bring:<br> Proven experience in Protection & Control engineering within T&D systems<br> Strong understanding of xwzovoh UK standards, client requirements, and key technologies<br> Hands-on knowledge of IEC61850, substation protocols, and cybersecurity considerations<br> Experience with leading vendor technologies<br> Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience<br> Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel<br><br>Please contact me ASAP if you are interested to hear more.<br><br>Rullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants
