The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting Class 1 (C&E Drivers) on behalf of EVRi Hub, Barnsley.<br><br>Ready to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.<br><br>Hours: Choose your own days of work and start times by providing a 2-hour window from 14:00-03:00.<br><br>PAYE Rates: (PAYE 6AM onwards):Monday to Thursday, £16.21, Friday £16.95, Saturday £17.87 & Sunday £18.20 (PAYE 2PM onwards):Monday to Thursday £16.87, Friday £17.60, Saturday £18.29, Sunday £18.61 (PAYE 10PM onwards):Monday to Friday £17.59, Saturday £20.69 & Sunday £21.96 PAYE ROLLEDUP Rates: (RU 6AM onwards):Monday to Thursday £18.17, Friday £19.00, Saturday £20.03 & Sunday £20.40 (RU 2PM onwards):Monday to Thursday £18.91, Friday £19.72, Saturday £20.50, Sunday £20.86 (RU 10PM onwards):Monday to Thursday £19.71, Friday £20.28, Saturday £23.19 & Sunday £24.61 Location: Barnsley, S74.<br><br>Job Type : Ongoing.<br><br>The role: Trunking between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels.<br><br>Ability to drive class 2 on occasion when cover is needed.<br><br>Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision.<br><br>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.<br><br>Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.<br><br>Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.<br><br>Requirements: 3 months experience showing on tacho.<br><br>However, we do have other opportunities for drivers with limited experience.<br><br>Ability to drive class 2 on occasion when cover is needed.<br><br>Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category CE).<br><br>Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.<br><br>No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).<br><br>Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test.<br><br>Full understanding of WTD legislation.<br><br>A safety-first mindset.<br><br>Benefits: Work all year round.<br><br>Choose your own shifts, with shifts to suit all availabilities.<br><br>Clinic days on-site to support drivers with training and areas they require support.<br><br>Onsite recruitment team for day to day assistance. xwzovoh <br><br>For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch!
