We're evolving our next-generation Learning Management System (LMS), a rich platform supporting everything from course planning and booking to attendance, evaluation, and certification.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are looking for a talented and adaptable Full Stack Software Developer who is comfortable working across both front-end and back-end components. You’ll be joining a small, technically focused team delivering a modern web platform.</p><p><br></p><p>The system is deployed across multiple <strong>Linux servers </strong>and managed using <strong>DevOps pipelines and AWX (Ansible playbooks)</strong>. The backend is written in <strong>C#</strong> using <strong>gRPC services</strong> exposed via a <strong>Web API gateway</strong>, backed by a <strong>MySQL database</strong>. The front end is built with <strong>Vite and React</strong>.</p><p>While full stack skills are essential, we are especially interested in candidates who bring <strong>strong React and/or AWX/Ansible experience</strong> to complement existing team strengths.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain responsive, component-based user interfaces using <strong>React + Vite</strong>.</li><li>Build scalable, service-oriented back-end features using <strong>.NET</strong>, <strong>gRPC</strong>, and <strong>Web API</strong>.</li><li>Work with <strong>Entity Framework</strong> and <strong>MySQL</strong> to design and query robust data models.</li><li>Contribute to AWX/Ansible playbooks and DevOps pipelines for deployment automation.</li><li>Participate in code reviews and collaborate with peers to ensure quality and maintainability.</li><li>Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience with <strong>C#</strong>, <strong>.NET Core</strong>, and <strong>Entity Framework</strong>.</li><li>Experience with <strong>React</strong> (preferably with <strong>Vite</strong>), building modern UIs.</li><li>Good understanding of <strong>gRPC</strong>, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.</li><li>Proficiency in <strong>MySQL</strong> and writing efficient database queries.</li><li>Comfortable with <strong>Linux environments</strong> and command-line tooling.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to delivery.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working with <strong>AWX</strong>, <strong>Ansible playbooks</strong>, and infrastructure automation.</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>DevOps pipelines</strong>, especially in a Linux/Hyper-V context.</li><li>Exposure to <strong>SaaS platforms</strong> or scalable web applications.</li><li>Interest in mentoring others or improving team skills in React or automation.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>£40,000 – £65,000 salary (depending on experience)</li><li>Company pension scheme</li><li>Free on-site parking</li><li>Potential for hybrid work after probation</li><li>Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge internal platform with modern tools</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Location Requirement</strong></p><ul><li><strong>This role is primarily office-based in Horsham</strong>. xwzovoh Applicants must be able to <strong>reliably commute or plan to relocate</strong> prior to starting.</li></ul>
