<p><strong>Embedded Software Engineer</strong></p><p>Crawley – Hybrid – 3 days a week in the office</p><p>£60,000–£70,000</p><p><br><br>Skills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.<br></p><p>I’m currently working with an innovative technology company based in Crawley who are looking for an <strong>Embedded Software Engineer</strong> to join their growing engineering team on a hybrid basis!</p><p><br></p><p>The company specialises in developing advanced electronic and embedded solutions for industries including automotive, industrial automation, and smart technologies. They have a strong pipeline of projects and are continuing to invest heavily in their engineering capability as they scale.</p><p><br></p><p>You’ll be joining a close-knit, multidisciplinary team of engineers and will play a key role in developing embedded software for a range of products. The position is hands-on, with a strong focus on C/C++ development, working closely with hardware teams to design, build, and optimise embedded systems.</p><p><br></p><p>The role will involve working across the full product lifecycle, from early-stage development and prototyping through to testing and production. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to technical decisions and influence product direction as the company continues to grow.</p><p><br></p><p>The office is based in Crawley and they are looking for someone to be onsite 3 days a week. Sponsorship cannot be offered for this role.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Technical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience developing firmware for embedded systems in C++/C.</li><li>Experience working with real-time systems and scheduling (RTOS concepts or similar).</li><li>Understanding of memory management, timing constraints, and performance optimisation in embedded environments.</li><li>Experience with board bring-up, hardware validation, and fault finding.</li><li>Familiarity with reading schematics and working alongside electronics engineers.</li><li>Experience writing low-level drivers or interfacing directly with hardware components.</li><li>Exposure to embedded testing methodologies and validation processes.</li><li>Strong debugging skills across both software and hardware layers.</li><li>Ability to document designs and contribute to technical specifications.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience within automotive, industrial, or IoT environments.</li><li>Knowledge of embedded Linux systems.</li><li>Python or scripting for automation/testing.</li><li>Exposure to CI/CD practices.</li><li>Understanding of safety-critical or regulated environments. xwzovoh </li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Salary/Benefits:</strong></p><p>£60,000–£70,000, Bonus, 7% Pension, Medical Care, 24 Days Holiday</p><p><br></p><p>If this sounds of interest, please apply and I can give you a call.</p><p><br></p><p>Tim Stock</p><p> </p><p><strong> | </strong></p>
