<p><strong>Principal Electronics Engineer</strong></p><p>Crawley</p><p>Hybrid Working</p><p>£65,000-£75,000</p><p><br><br>Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.<br></p><p>We are currently partnering with a highly innovative engineering organisation who are looking for a <strong>Principal Electronics Engineer</strong> to join their established engineering team. The company operates within a complex, R&D-led environment, delivering advanced electronic and electrical systems. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to drive technical direction, support high-impact projects, and mentor engineers within a growing team.</p><p><br></p><p>In role, you will lead system design activities across both electronics and electrical domains, contributing to architecture definition, R&D development, and full lifecycle delivery. You will also engage with senior stakeholders, support bids and proposals, and help shape engineering best practice.</p><p><br></p><p>The role is based in Crawley and requires office working of 3-4 days a week.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead electronic and electrical design across the full lifecycle</li><li>Define system architecture including power and PCB design</li><li>Provide expertise across EMC, power management, and control systems</li><li>Identify risks and ensure robust project delivery</li><li>Mentor and support engineers</li><li>Contribute to bids and stakeholder engagement</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Experience Required</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field</li><li>10+ years’ experience in a relevant environment</li><li>Strong circuit design and system-level understanding</li><li>Experience leading projects or teams</li><li>Strong xwzovoh analytical and problem-solving capability</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable</strong></p><ul><li>Chartered Engineer status</li><li>Experience with EMC, motors/drives, or control systems</li><li>Familiarity with tools such as Altium, OrCAD, JIRA</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> £65,000–£75,000</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong>: 28 days holiday, 5% pension, Bonus/Shares, Healthcare, ½ day Friday</p><p><br></p><p>If this role sounds of interest, please apply and I can give you a call.</p><p><br></p><p>Tim Stock</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p> | </p>
