Digital Skills Tutor (Ref: E/DST/B/526) Job details: Hours:35 hours per week Salary:Competitive Contract: Permanent Job Background: To be responsible for the delivery and assessment of qualifications in Essential Skills Training<br><br>If you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.<br>- ICT/Digital Skills in accordance with standards laid down by the Awarding Organisation.<br><br>To be responsible for ensuring each Programme participant has the opportunity to achieve accreditation in which is necessary to progress in training and work.<br><br>Main Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the guidelines of training programmes designed to increase the economic activity of learners Assess individual training needs in relation to the required level as part of a formal induction process To take appropriate action to ensure each candidate has the maximum opportunity to attain a relevant qualification appropriate to ability To agree and compile Assessment Plans with each learner that outlines how the targeted qualification will be delivered and achieved To create and maintain a warm, welcoming and supportive environment responsive to the needs of participants presenting with barriers to learning To ensure all participants are provided with a high level of pastoral care support Essential Criteria: Educated to 5 GCSEs Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English and Maths AminimumofaLevel3qualification/Degree inICTas per DfErequirements A minimum of one year previous experience delivering Digital / Essential Skills ICT qualifications to Level 2.<br><br>Experience of standardisation within a working team.<br><br>Desirable Criteria: Post Graduate Certificate inEducation(PGCE)orUUJCertificateinTeaching(CIT) A working knowledge of currentTraining&EmploymentProgrammes A minimum of 1 year working with unemployed and young school leavers.<br><br>For more information, or a full job description/person specification, please contact the Human Resources Department Tel: or email: Application packs with full job description are downloadable fromwhere there is also the option to apply online.<br><br>A satisfactory Access NI Enhanced / Standard disclosure or Garda Clearance is required prior to commencement of employment. xwzovoh <br><br>Bryson adheres to Access NI Code of Practice available upon request.<br><br>Closing date for receipt of completed applications is: Wednesday 27th May 2025 at 6pm<br>TPBN1_NI
