AMIC<br><br>In order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.<br>- A £100M investment through the Belfast Region City Deal<br>- is a collaborative, innovative powerhouse of advanced manufacturing set to elevate our region globally.<br><br>We are supporting economic growth and prosperity for Northern Ireland by creating high quality jobs and increasing inward investment through high value manufacturing innovation clusters.<br><br>We are driving industrial transformation, paving the way for future technologies and competing globally with a more sustainable focus.<br><br>When you join our team, you will have access to the latest advanced industrial technologies and have the opportunity to grow and develop as an engineer and technology leader.<br><br>Our mission is to provide you with the environment to innovate and create impact.<br><br>Our team of experienced staff has core capabilities in digitalising manufacturing, smart design, sustainable polymers & composites and nanotechnologies & photonics.<br><br>We are excited to be expanding the team throughout 2026 and beyond.<br><br>We are seeking to recruit a digitalisation project engineer who wants to develop and support innovation through applying their knowledge to the challenges of industry and society.<br><br>Successful candidates will apply their knowledge and experience of methods and processes to support AMIC's advanced manufacturing activities, developing and implementing methods and processes to meet industry need, fuelling a pipeline of innovation activity for AMIC's state-of the-art "Factory of the Future" facility, and contributing to solving wider societal challenges.<br><br>In conjunction with senior engineering colleagues, you will work collaboratively with academia, technology providers, national technology centres, and industry to deliver key projects focused on Advanced Manufacturing activities.<br><br>You will help monitor, develop and implement best practices in the application of your engineering discipline within advanced manufacturing, including software, hardware and delivery.<br><br>About The Person The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following essential criteria: Honours degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering, science, or related discipline OR minimum HND in a similar discipline with recent significant and relevant industrial experience.<br><br>Recent experience in at least one of the following: Embedded/Edge/Sensor devices/technology <br>* Cyber security <br>* Virtualisation/Infrastructure/Networking <br>* AI<br>- experience must be applicable to manufacturing use cases <br>* Manufacturing Software Systems <br>* Digital Twin Technologies <br>* Cloud technologies<br>- particularly in relation to cloud based databases, data analytics, data visualisation.<br>* Relevant experience in the Manufacturing Domain <br>* * can be demonstrated with industry experience or relevant projects.<br><br>Experience of using research/industrial tools and techniques resulting in high quality projects and technical reports.<br><br>Demonstrable evidence of delivering projects to agreed deadlines and within budget. xwzovoh <br><br>To be successful at shortlisting stage, please ensure you clearly evidence in your application how you meet the essential and, where applicable, desirable criteria listed in the Candidate Information on our website.<br>TPBN1_NI
