This is an opportunity to play a critical role in delivering high-quality structural design solutions within a fast-paced, production-driven environment.<br>You'll join a highly skilled engineering team supporting a major UK aerospace manufacturing site, providing hands-on design leadership, approvals, and technical solutions that directly impact production, quality, and airworthiness.<br>The Opportunity<br>In this role, you'll act as a design approval signatory, leading investigations and approving structural design solutions across a variety of production and modification activities. You'll work closely with manufacturing, configuration, and wider engineering stakeholders to ensure designs are safe, compliant, and optimised for delivery.<br>This position offers long-term contract stability, paid overtime, and the chance to influence major structural decisions on live aircraft programmes.<br>What You'll Be Doing<br>Leading and approving structural design solutions for major and minor modifications<br>Acting as a technical authority and Design Approval signatory<br>Providing expert guidance on design investigations, flow mods, and works queries<br>Ensuring all designs meet airworthiness, safety, and configuration requirements<br>Supporting production teams with responsive, practical engineering solutions<br>Mentoring engineers and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives<br>Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver integrated design outcomes<br>What We're Looking For<br>Industry-recognised xwzovoh Design Approval / Design Signatory delegation<br>Strong structures background within aerospace<br>Previous experience working within large aerospace OEM environments<br>Confident operating as a technical lead and decision maker<br>Comfortable working on-site within a manufacturing setting<br>Proactive, resilient, and delivery-focused approach<br>If you're a Design Structures Approver ready to take on a high-impact, long-term aerospace contract, we'd love to hear from you.<br>Apply now or get in touch to discuss the role in confidence<br>This vacancy is being advertised by Belcan
